Individual Counselling and Psychotherapy
You may have an ongoing issue stemming from something that happened to you recently, something in your past or just something you are coming to terms with; or you may be in particular circumstances such as work related stress, relationship issues, family issues or bullying where you feel you need some support and therapeutic input. This is something that can we can discuss in the first session when you talk about what is going on for you.

Counselling for Young People
Young People go through many feelings and emotions about different things that they experience in their lives whether it is bereavement, sibling rivalry, bullying, self-harm, low self-esteem, gender identity, friendships, confidence, school or exam stress and family issues to name a few. They have different ways of expressing themselves and communicating and this is not always through words. I work with young people through talking therapy and using other tools where they will have the opportunity to process their feelings in different ways. An initial phone consultation would be held with the parent of the young person, to get an understanding of what's going on for them.

A 50 minute counselling session is generally conducted on a weekly basis from my private practice in Twickenham TW2, South West London. The first session is called the assessment session where I will gain a better understanding of what has brought you to counselling where you will have an opportunity to ask any questions and discuss how I work and how we will work together. Currently, sessions are offered on an online platform such as skype or zoom.

Once a day and time are agreed for counselling and psychotherapy, sessions will be held weekly and the work will be reviewed as it progresses. If contacted in advance, I will endeavour to offer you an alternative session in the same week if the session has to be cancelled however the fee will still apply.

I offer group Supervision and one to one Supervision to Counsellors and Psychotherapists from trainee level through to qualified Counsellors. My approach to Supervision is integrative, bringing together different elements of therapies where I primarily build a relationship of trust that allows me to work with unconscious processes at the counsellors level of development and experience.

A notice period of 48 hours notice is required to cancel supervision sessions, otherwise the fee still applies.

Fees vary as follows:

Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Secondary school age and students to 21 years - £55
Adults - £65

£50 per hour for group supervision
£55 per one to one session
£45 per one to one session (counsellor in training)
Payment for sessions is made at the end of each session or by direct debit before the session.
