About Kathy Jaloussis

Kathy is a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Supervisor in South West London and is based in Twickenham. She has completed qualifications in Psychology, Humanistic Integrative Counselling, Specialist Training in Counselling Children and a Diploma in Integrative Supervision. From her training at the Mindfulness Institute, she has incorporated mindfulness practice within her therapy work with children, young people and adults suffering from various issues which can impact their wellbeing including anxiety, sleeplessness, exam stress, anger, bullying, stress and low mood. Kathy also runs workshops to primary and secondary schools around wellbeing topics that include bullying and its impact, friendships and resilience.

Prior to becoming a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Supervisor, Kathy worked in Social Work with Children, Young People and Families for over 13 years and therefore she has an intuitive approach to the needs of children, young people and adults.

Kathy works as a Counsellor with Children and Young People, Counsellor and Psychotherapist with adults and is also a Supervisor working with trainee and qualified Counsellors both individually and in groups. She works in the NHS in Health Centres in the Hounslow and Richmond borough and in primary schools and secondary schools. She has also worked in Kings College Hospital Psychotherapy Department, West London Centre for Counselling and in a Mediation Centre counselling children and young people of parents who are coming to the end of their marital relationship. Kathy has a wide range of experience working with different issues within these age groups as well as working with a diverse range of people. She has run various wellbeing workshops to Primary and Secondary schools in the borough of Richmond Upon Thames.

She is an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and she is on the Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapist registered with BACP. Click for further information on BACP.
