About Kathy Jaloussis

I am a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Supervisor in South West London based in Twickenham. I have completed qualifications in Psychology, Humanistic Integrative Counselling, Specialist Training in Counselling Children and a Diploma in Integrative Supervision. I have incorporated my training at the Mindfulness Institute into my therapy work with children, young people and adults suffering from various issues which can impact their wellbeing including anxiety, sleeplessness, exam stress, anger, bullying, stress and low mood. I also run workshops to primary and secondary schools around wellbeing topics including bullying and its impact, friendships and resilience.

Prior to becoming a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Supervisor, I worked in Social Work with Children, Young People and Families for over 13 years and therefore I have an intuitive approach to the needs of children, young people and adults.

I work as a Counsellor with Children and Young People, Counsellor and Psychotherapist with adults and I am also a Supervisor working with trainee and qualified Counsellors both individually and in groups. I work in the NHS in Health Centres in the Hounslow and Richmond borough and in primary schools and secondary schools. I have also worked in Kings College Hospital Psychotherapy Department, West London Centre for Counselling and in a Mediation Centre counselling children and young people of parents who are coming to the end of their marital relationship. I have a wide range of experience working with different issues within these age groups as well as working with a diverse range of people.

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I am on the Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapist registered with BACP. Click for further information on BACP.
