About Kathy Jaloussis

Kathy is an Integrative and Psychodynamic Counsellor in South West London and is based in Twickenham. She completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 2002 and enhanced her training and experience in this field with an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling Therapy as well as Specialist Training in Counselling Children.

Prior to becoming a Counsellor, Kathy worked in Social Work with Children, Young People and Families for over 13 years and therefore she has an intuitive approach to the needs of children, young people, couples and adults.

Kathy works as a Counsellor for Children and Young People and does Counselling and Psychotherapy with adults. She has worked in primary schools and secondary schools, Kings College Hospital Psychotherapy Department, West London Centre for Counselling and in Health Centres in the Hounslow and Richmond borough. Kathy has also worked in a Mediation Centre counselling children and young people of parents who are coming to the end of their marital relationship. Kathy has a wide range of experience working with different issues within these age groups.

Kathy has worked with a diverse group of people including Japanese, Chinese, South American, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Moroccan, Afghanistani, South Africa, Syria, Polland, La Seychelles, Indian, Irish, New Zealand, Canadian, English, Australian and various black and mixed cultures.

She is an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abides by its ethics and code of practice.
